By accessing our website at eastafricanbites.com and placing an order with East African Bites, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site and our services.

2. About Our Service

2.1 Business Description

East African Bites is a home-based food service operating under New Hampshire Cottage Food Law. We specialize in authentic East African flatbreads and snacks, including chapati and mandazi.

2.2 Home Kitchen Disclosure

By placing an order, you acknowledge that:

• Food is prepared in a residential home kitchen
• The home kitchen is not licensed or inspected by health authorities
• You understand and accept this condition

2.3 Service Area

We currently operate exclusively in New Hampshire. Delivery is available to specific cities within our service area.

3. Ordering & Pricing

3.1 Order Placement

• Orders can be placed through our website until 9:00 PM EST daily
• Orders placed after 9:00 PM EST will be scheduled for next-day fulfillment
• All orders require minimum 4-hour advance notice for preparation
• We reserve the right to adjust preparation times based on order volume

3.2 Order Acceptance

All orders are subject to acceptance by East African Bites. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including:

• Product unavailability
• Daily capacity limits reached
• Suspected fraudulent activity
• Delivery address outside service area
• Payment verification issues

3.3 Daily Capacity Limits

We have a maximum daily production capacity of 300 units (combined chapati and mandazi). When this limit is reached, the website will display "Sold Out for Today."

3.4 Pricing

• All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD)
• Prices include all applicable costs except delivery fees
• New Hampshire has no sales tax - prices shown are final
• We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Payment Methods

Pay on Delivery/Pickup:

• Cash (exact change appreciated)
• Cash App
• PayPal

4.2 Payment Due

For Pay on Delivery/Pickup orders, payment is due in full at time of delivery or pickup.

5. Delivery Terms

5.1 Delivery Areas & Fees

• Delivery is available to specific cities in New Hampshire
• Delivery fees vary by location and are displayed at checkout
• Delivery fees are non-refundable once a driver has been dispatched

5.2 Customer Availability

• You must be available at the delivery address during the scheduled window
• We will make up to 2 delivery attempts
• After 2 failed attempts, the order may be cancelled with no refund

6. Pickup Terms

• Pickup location is in Manchester, NH (exact address provided after order confirmation)
• Pickup is FREE - no delivery fee applies
• Orders not picked up within 24 hours will be considered abandoned

7. Cancellation Policy

7.1 Customer Cancellations

• 2+ hours in advance: No fee, full refund
• Less than 2 hours before: Full charge applies
• No-shows: Full charge, no refund

8. Refund Policy

Full Refund Situations:

• Order not delivered or ready at promised time (more than 2 hours late)
• Wrong items delivered
• Food quality issue (spoiled, burnt, undercooked)
• Business cancels your order

No Refund Situations:

• Customer not available for delivery after 2 attempts
• Customer cancels less than 2 hours before scheduled time
• Customer changes mind after food is prepared
• Taste preference (food is subjective)
• Customer provides incorrect delivery address

10. Limitation of Liability

East African Bites provides food products "AS IS." To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your order shall not exceed the amount you paid for that specific order.

11. SMS Communication

By placing an order, you consent to receive SMS text messages regarding order confirmation, verification, status updates, and delivery notifications. Standard message and data rates may apply.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last Updated" date.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire and the United States.
